The Faculty Excellence Advisory Committee will provide input, recommendations, and feedback on various Faculty Excellence initiatives with the purpose of strengthening UCF faculty and assisting us in fulfilling our quest.
Committee members serve a one-year term and are expected to attend all Advisory Committee meetings and any relevant sub-committee meetings. Committee members may also be called on at other times throughout the year to offer input related to various initiatives.
All faculty serving on the Advisory Committee are encouraged to participate in programming offered through Faculty Excellence.
There will also be one kick-off meeting in September to set expectations and one wrap-up meeting in April (dates and times still TBD) for groups to report out on the work they accomplished.
In addition to soliciting faculty from all ranks and types (tenured, tenure-earning, and non-tenure earning, including librarians, instructional designers, research, and clinical faculty) to serve on the Advisory Committee, the Committee also includes representatives from key faculty-serving units such as the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, Office of Research, UCF Global, and Center for Distributed Learning.
Full‐time faculty members of all ranks and types (e.g., tenured, tenure-earning, and non-tenure earning including instructors and lecturers, librarians, instructional designers, researchers, and clinical) are invited to apply.
The application period for the 2020-21 academic year is closed.
Applications for the Advisory Committee are reviewed and selected by Faculty Excellence. Advisory Committee members selected will be notified no later than August 24. The kick-off meeting is scheduled for September 8, 1-2 p.m. via Zoom.
