Features include:
- Workflow management, for guiding evaluations, promotion, tenure, award applications, and other processes.
- Faculty profiles and activities sections, containing information related to awards and honors, career achievements and events, creative works, scholarship, service, and teaching and mentoring.
- External Discovery Sites, that can serve as public facing faculty webpages.
- It also works in conjunction with the Academic Analytics – Research Insight product, that UCF has been using for several years, to help faculty find external award opportunities, funding opportunities, and potential collaborators.

Currently, Faculty Insight is live for 2026-27 Promotion, Tenure, and Post-Tenure Review processes. Faculty Excellence and several other key teams across UCF are continuously working to rollout the various features, processes, and integrations that will be available.
